Church Law, Biblical Counseling and Christian Conciliation
- Tom Bois, and his wife Donna, are currently enrolled at Compass Bible Institute. They are both pursuing a Master’s Degree in biblical counseling. Tom and Donna are being trained to become certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (https://biblicalcounseling.com). Tom and Donna provide no-charge biblical counseling to Christian men and women to assist them through trials and to respond to conflict biblically in their marriages, family life, workplaces and communities (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:3). This world is full of sin, suffering, and confusion. We all know people in need of help and hope, yet many Christians do not feel equipped to counsel. It’s true that counseling can be daunting, but God’s Word has answers. Tom and Donna minister the Bible faithfully to those all who are in need of God’s truth.
- Tom Bois, and his wife Donna, are currently engaged in training to become Christian Conciliators under the guidance of the Institute for Christian Conciliation (https://www.instituteforchristianconciliation.com) and Certified Christian Conciliators™ (CCC). They provide no-charge Christian Conciliation to Christian men and women to assist them through family, business, and church disputes. We believe conflict provides opportunities to glorify God, serve other people, and grow to be like Christ (Romans 8:28-29; 1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1; James 1:2-4).
Non-Profit Formation & Governance
- Tom Bois creates new non-profit organizations, articles of organization, bylaws, and operating documents for churches and related non-profit organizations. Tom advises on legal questions relating to general corporate and business matters, legal risk management, employee relations, as well as a broad range of other issues that have unique application in religious non-profit organizations.
Christian Business Counseling
- Tom conducts legal compliance reviews of leases and contracts, employee handbooks, employment offers and agreements, separation agreements, employment practices and termination/layoff procedures, Title VII compliance, discrimination, harassment, and compliance with federal and state statutes. Tom’s work also involves navigating complex business transactions, including the acquisition, construction, financing and disposition of real property.
